Biking Holland. . .Haarlem to Leiden

It’s a lie. . .it’s an urban myth. . . It’s all false.

holland is NOT flat. . . Just ask my aching back, thoughts, calves, and arms!!!

We browsed the flower floats first, then set out. . .

The weather turned really cold, windy, and rainy as we approached the North Sea. I mean to tell you, it was nasty. Nasty. Headwind that never quit.

Thankfully, lunchtime. . .rain stopped. .

More riding, more wind, sun came out. . . And finally. . .the first of the bulb fields…

and then on to the Keukenhof. . .famous gardens. . . Amazingly beautiful!!

beautiful, Beautiful, beautiful. . . And then more bulb fields . . . And we had to convince Suzie that we needed to stop for photos. So we got roger to take a photo of all of us. . . .

Then biking, biking, biking through neighborhoods, small towns, paths, and in to Leiden, where we are now. The group went out for a walk, but not us. After 31 miles of biking into the wind, we’re tired. bed soon, and then we do this all again tomorrow!!
