It’s a lie. . .it’s an urban myth. . . It’s all false.
holland is NOT flat. . . Just ask my aching back, thoughts, calves, and arms!!!
We browsed the flower floats first, then set out. . .
The weather turned really cold, windy, and rainy as we approached the North Sea. I mean to tell you, it was nasty. Nasty. Headwind that never quit.
Thankfully, lunchtime. . .rain stopped. .
More riding, more wind, sun came out. . . And finally. . .the first of the bulb fields…
and then on to the Keukenhof. . .famous gardens. . . Amazingly beautiful!!
beautiful, Beautiful, beautiful. . . And then more bulb fields . . . And we had to convince Suzie that we needed to stop for photos. So we got roger to take a photo of all of us. . . .
Then biking, biking, biking through neighborhoods, small towns, paths, and in to Leiden, where we are now. The group went out for a walk, but not us. After 31 miles of biking into the wind, we’re tired. bed soon, and then we do this all again tomorrow!!
